The Ministry hereby informs the Namibian public that there is currently no cause for concern in regards to the hippo situation in the Zambezi Region as interventions are taking shape. In 2019, the Ministry drilled a borehole and procured a generator pump to pump water into in the pond. Since then, this pump and generator have been consistently aiding whenever there's a demand for water.
