It gives me great honor and pleasure to be here today as we handover and launch two project activities dealing with very important livelihood issues. Human Wildlife Conflict and Community Livelihoods are at the center of our Community Based Natural Resource Management Programme. The increase in the numbers of our wildlife, especially iconic species such as elephants, crocodiles, lions, hippo’s and rhino’s to mention but a few, are a success story for our country but leads to increasing human wildlife conflict incidences.
