Namibia joins the rest of the world in celebrating World Tourism day on 27th September 2023. The World Tourism day is a day that is celebrated annually on the 27th of September, since 1980, by the United Nations World Tourism Organization member states. The purpose of this day is to foster awareness among the international community on the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic values.
