It is a great pleasure to be here this evening as we recognize and celebrate the top performing Namibian community conservation workers from our Communal Conservancy Game Guards, our Lion and Rhino Rangers, our Fish Guards and Community Resource Monitors. These are men and women who go the extra mile in doing their jobs in rural Namibia. Six (6) men and women from across the country will be receiving a Grassroots Owen-Smith Community Ranger Award this evening.
